As we close the chapter on our annual golf outing, we do so with hearts full of gratitude. What started as a simple idea grew into something far greater than we ever imagined—a community of businesses, friends, and families coming together year after year to make a real difference in the lives of children battling cancer.

This journey began with Mike Smoljanovich, whose final wish set everything in motion. Before his passing, Mike asked his son, Jason, to start this venture in honor of Aaron—our beloved son and brother—who left an unforgettable mark on our community. Jason, honoring his father’s request, helped turn that wish into a reality, creating an event that brought people together for a cause much bigger than ourselves.

Aaron’s kindness, love, and athletic ability were only matched by his selflessness—he was the kind of person who lifted others up, always putting others before himself. His impact on those around him was undeniable, and it was only fitting that a legacy of giving and support for children in need be built in his name.

Thanks to your unwavering generosity, we’ve been able to raise and donate substantial funds to children in need, helping ease their burdens and bring hope in difficult times. Your contributions have provided financial relief for families, supported vital treatments, and ensured that our scholarship program will continue for years to come. Though the golf outing will not continue, the impact of your kindness will live on, as the funds raised will continue to support those who need it most.

This journey would not have been possible without each and every one of you—our sponsors, volunteers, players, and all those who supported us in ways big and small. Your selflessness and dedication have been the heart of this event, and for that, we can’t thank you enough.

While this may be the end of the tournament, the mission continues. Donations can still be made to support cancer patients, and we encourage you to keep the spirit of giving alive in whatever ways you can.
